The UK Space Agency's 'Skills for Space' program aims to bridge this gap by offering 50 internships across various disciplines and locations. These placements provide students with hands-on experience in one of the UK's fastest-growing industries, ensuring they gain practical skills that are highly sought after in the space sector.

The program, running for eight weeks in July and August 2026, is open to undergraduate and Further Education students.
