I have made a decision
And it tears me inside
To know you’ll no longer
Be by my side.

I can’t let you suffer
And see you in pain
It was a difficult choice
But I’ll see you again.

I’ll kiss your tiny head
And hold you to my heart
I know you won’t be alone
When we are pulled apart.

I looked into your eyes
And I saw you fade away
Then I held you in my arms
And cried for you to stay.

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep
Then you must do what must be done
For this last battle can´t be won.

You will be sad, I understand
Don´t let your grief then stay your hand
For this day, more than all the rest
Your love and friendship stand the test.

We´ve had so many happy years
What is to come can hold no fears
Would you want me to suffer? So
When the time comes, please let me go.

Take me where my needs they´ll tend
Only stay with me until the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.

It is a kindness that you do for me
Although my tail its last has waved
From pain and suffering I have been saved
Do not grieve it should be you
Who must decide this thing to do
We´ve been so close, we two these years
Don´t let your heart hold any tears.

Thank you for all good memories, Rasmus! We love you dearly

Mummy, Helena and all your friends

A special friend has passed away

Anzu  (mother of our Kiri) has passed away, 15 years old. We had the pleasure of knowing Anzu for over 9 years, she and her daughter Nikko have stayed at our place several times and we have had lots of great walks. These are memories we now look back at with pleasure and gratitude. Mathias has given Anzu a great life with many long walks. And on May 17th (our Constitution Day) they took a walk from Fløyen to Ulriken, a march that takes several hours.

Highly loved and deeply missed

Mathias, Nikko, Kiri, Helena, Vibeke and all your tibbiefriends at Risnes
